Your Gap Year in Kitzbühel includes:

This course is for good skiers and snowboarders who want to acquire the most prestigious instructors' qualification. People come from all over the world to get the Austrian certificate, known for its rigour and high standards. At the Deutsch-Institut we prepare you thoroughly for the exam. You'll get expert tuition in German four days a week, and 3 days intensive ski or snowboard instruction every weekend. If you're looking for intensive, this is for you! 
The exams are in German. You get 8 weeks targeted German tuition with a thorough preparation for the written part. Every year we get complete beginners at German passing the exam. You'll also be drilled through the requirements for the practical, skiing/snowboarding part of the exam. Our trainer has passed the exam himself, and every year schools DIT students through the course.
After you've passed the course, you can stay in Kitzbühel and work as a ski/snowboard instructor. If you have a European passport, you will have no trouble getting a job. DIT staff organise all the paperwork for you so that your transfer from student to instructor is painless. Enjoy the next 3 to 4 months in the resort getting paid to do what you love, on the snow, in the sun, meeting people from all over the world, sharing your enthusiasm for skiing or snowboarding.
