Where is the best place to study German?

Learn German in Munich, Berlin, Stuttgart, Vienna or KITZBÜHEL

When searching for a German language course many students think of learning German in Germany and doing a German course in Munich, Berlin, Stuttgart or Hamburg. Some also think of going to the capital of Austria and learn German in Vienna. But have you ever thought about looking for German classes in the middle of the Austrian Alps?

Learning German in Munich for sure is a great opportunity, as the city is famous for Oktoberfest, Münchener Weißwurst – a typical Bavarian veal sausage –  beer and soccer... ;) Take German classes in Berlin if you are interested in the history of Germany – especially the Second World War – and visit Brandenburg Gate and Berlin Wall. Learning German in Berlin also could be fun if you are looking for wild techno parties and if you want to get a tasty Doner Kebab or Currywurst. A German course in Vienna is a good idea, if you are looking forward to admire the historical buildings of the monarchy and monuments and if you like to get your coffee from a very grumpy Viennese waiter. But kidding aside – of course all those cities are extremely beautiful historical places and offer a lot of free time activities and attract an enormous amount of international audience. BUT some of you might want to escape the stress and pollution of big cities and just enjoy learning German in one of the most beautiful areas in the German speaking world: Kitzbühel.

German courses in Kitzbühel

Kitzbühel is located in the middle of the Austrian Alps and it is surrounded by a vastness of natural beauty. Taking German lessons in the mountains offers you a wide range of activities as well: learn German and go hiking, climbing, (downhill) biking, skiing or snowboarding, learn German and play golf, tennis and much more.

While looking for a German language course, you might ask yourself: “Where do I find the best German language courses?”

We can’t answer this question for you. It really depends on what you want to do in leisure time. But we can promise you an intensive learning experience due to our tiny classes of maximum five students and the additional German conversation classes in the afternoon. Our German language school in the middle of the Tyrolian Alps offers everything you are looking for in a city and much more than that.

Our favourite argument, why an intensive German language course in Kitzbühel might be better than in Munich, Berlin or Vienna: There are less distractions. So the intensive learning experience is guaranteed. Also in winter the snow really is white and not greyish or brownish caused by the emissions from the cars etc. ;)

You can find our course programme here.

Combine your German course with various free time activities

Kitzbühel is very close to Munich, Innsbruck and Salzburg – where you also find the nearest airports close to our language school for German and beautiful sights, that you can visit easily on a daytrip on the weekends and enjoy the peacefulness and stillness of the Austrian Alps during the course week.  Escape the speed of the city and the daily stress. Go for a nice coffee in the medieval city centre of Kitzbühel. Enjoy a concert of traditional Austrian music. Go for a calming stroll around the lake „Schwarzsee“. Hike up the mountains or go with the cable car and enjoy an unforgettable breakfast when the sun rises. Enjoy the impressive view of Tyrol’s mountain ranges.

Learn German and try the culinary relights of the region

In Kitzbühel you will also find culinary delights of the region as well as high-class restaurants with a mix of Tyrolean specialties and international delicacies. There are many bars, where you can find delicious beers and wines from Austria. Try a traditional „Radler“ (mix drink of beer with water or a soft drink) or the famous white-wine Spritzer or have a fancy cocktail in the exclusive flair of the world famous alpine locations with – as it’s said – the world’s best ski areas (233 kilometers of downhill skiing) and a stunning surrounding where you can spend a great time all around the year. If you are interested in partying – no problem, we have a vibrant night life in Kitzbühel. The best thing is – you don’t even need a taxi to go home. Within a 20-minutes walk you are back in the silence of your lovely and calm pension or homestay and get a good nights sleep.
